Betty Jo Bugh Long

Betty Jo Bugh Long, age 85, a resident of Baltimore for over 59 years, passed away, Thursday, March 29, 2012, at Fairfield Medical Center. She was born on May 21, 1926, in Somerset.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Rondo Glenn Long; parents, Arthur and Lillian Crosson Bugh; in-laws, Perley and Myrtle Grace Souders Long; sister and brother-inlaw, Alma Patricia and Robert Pearson; half-sister and brotherin law, Marguerite and Dwight Holmes; half-brother and sisterin law, Fred and Agnes Miller; sister-in-law, MaryLou Long; brothers-in-law, James long and Robert Long; infant grandchildren, Chad Andrew Landis and Tiana Grace Seifert; and son-inlaw, Perl Seifert.

She is survived by loving children, Judy (Bill Muck) Landis of Baltimore, Bob (Mary) Long of Gulf Shores, Alabama, Rhonda (Scott) Bova of Hilliard, Randy Long and June Dunkle of Carroll, Shelley Seifert of Baltimore, Steve (Crystal) Long of Griffin, and Georgia and Dennis (Susie) Long of Baltimore; grandchildren, Chris (Julie) Landis, Craig (Lisa) Landis, Aaron (Toni) Long, Jon-Aric Long, Chanda (Jason) Anderson, Nick Long, Taylor Long, Jarred Long and Braden Long; great-grandchildren, Collin Anderson, Miranda Landis, Morgan Long, Makinah Anderson, Ayden Anderson, Alexander Long and Adalyn Anderson; eight step-grandchildren; 22 step-great grandchildren; brother, David A. (Judy) Bugh of St. Charles Illinois; sisters-in-law, Donna Long of Zanesville, and Rosemary Long of Somerset; brother-in-law, Elmer Long of Pataskala; and many nieces and nephews.

Betty attended Fairfield Christian Church North Campus Church in Baltimore.

The family wishes to express their deepest thanks to the doctors and staff at Crestview Nursing Home and Fairfield Medical Center for their loving care they have provided Mom during her stays over the past few years.

Funeral service was held April 2, 2012, at Thurston United Methodist Church with Rev. David A. Bugh, II officiating. Burial followed in Maple Grove Cemetery, Baltimore.
