Clarence L. Johnson
A graveside service for Clarence L. Johnson of Buckeye Lake will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 9, 2012, at Cedar Hill Cemetery with military honors provided by the Licking County Veteran’s Alliance.
Clarence was born on September 16, 1939, in Ross County. He died Saturday, March 3, 2012, at the Licking Memorial Hospital. He was 72.
He was a HVAC Technician after serving in the US Army for 20 years in the Army Corps of Engineers, which included two tours of duty in Vietnam.
Clarence is preceded in death by his sister, Stella and brother Mike. He is survived by his wife of 20 years Carolyn (Stephenson); children, Kelly (Louis) Hinton, Frank Schwenning, Lisa Schwenning, and Tracy Lynn; 10 grandchildren; 10 greatgrandchildren; sisters, Millie, Esther and Mary Lou (Gary); brother, Jim (Becky) and sister-in-law Dee; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; and the family pet cat, “Kati”.
Clarence enjoyed fishing, traveling to Florida and the Gulf, working on cars and being a member of the NRA and the American Legion.
