Pauline N. “Polly” Mauk

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Pauline N. “Polly” Mauk, 86, formerly of Pataskala, was held January 11, 2012, in the Kirkersville home of The Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, with Chaplain Bob Keim as celebrant. Burial followed in Kirkersville Cemetery.

Polly died late Saturday evening, January 7, 2012, at Wesley Ridge in Reynoldsburg, following an extended illness. She was born August 21, 1925, in Portsmouth, the daughter of the late Clarence and Esta (Boggs) Robbins. She was a lifelong homemaker and member of the Kirkersville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crafts and ceramics and Frosty’s at Wendys.

She is survived by her loving family: her husband of 69 years, James B Mauk, whom she married on August 3, 1942; son, James E. Mauk of Pataskala; daughters, Polly Ann Prather of McCormick, SC and Karen D’huyvetter of Columbus; granddaughters, Celesia (Scott) Snyder, Paula (David) Blevins, and Amy (Matthew) Smith; and eight great-grandchildren, Jennifer, Kalasha, Joshua, Daphne, Cameron, Eric, Caitlyn and Carson.
