lver (Jay) Bruckelmeyer
lver (Jay) Bruckelmeyer, age 83, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on December 13, 2011, at his residence in Pensacola, Florida. He was born on November 12, 1928, and raised in Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn (Clark) Bruckelmeyer and is survived by his loving wife, Raye of Pensacola, Florida; two sons, Chuck (Debbie) of Zanesville and Mike (Julie) of Millersport; step children, Ronald Davis, Pamela (John) Trubshaw , Jimmy ( Glenda) Davis and Michael ( Glenda) Davis; his sister, Barbara Olson, of Nevada; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jay retired from Rockwell International. He was an Air Force veteran and an avid singer. He was a member of the Masons, past Master of Potter Lodge #540, a member of the Scottish Rite, and a member of the Aladdin Shrine Temple where he was an active member of the Chanters and the Jesters units.
Funeral service was December 21, 2011, at the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home in Baltimore, with Pastor Ron Murdock officiating. Burial was at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Lancaster.
