Wava M. Buchanan Kuhn
A funeral service, celebrating the life of Wava M. Buchanan Kuhn, 90, of Hebron, will be held Friday, October 21, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the First Presbyterian Church, Pataskala, with Pastor Dennis Witt as celebrant. Burial will follow at Duncan Falls Cemetery.
Wava died peacefully, Saturday, October 15,2011, at her home. She was born December 6, 1920, in Muskingum County, the daughter of the late Lloyd Alexander and Daisy Gladys (Clapper) Buchanan. She was a graduate of Muskingum College. She enjoyed her role as a pastor’s wife, and served alongside her husband, the Rev. Harold Vinson Kuhn, in the Presbyterian Church for many years. He preceded her in death in 1996.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Pataskala.
She is survived by her loving family: Elizabeth (Rev. Yugo) Suzuki of Pennsauken, N.J., Martha (Douglass) Derry of Moorestown, N.J., Rebecca (Rev. Russell) Beaudet of Gahanna, and David (Brenda) Kuhn of Columbus; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, L. D. (Joan) Buchanan of Parma Heights, OH; sister-in-law, Barbara Zuroweste of Xenia; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Culbertson.
