A funeral service for Ramona White, age 57, of Glenford, was held October 19, 2011, at the Newark Chapel of Henderson-Van Atta-Stickle Funeral and Cremation Service with Pastor Brian Harkness officiating. Burial followed in Smith Chapel Cemetery.
Ramona passed away Saturday, October 15, 2011, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born in Newark to the late Harry A. and Martha R. (Hoffer) Dermer.
Ramona worked at Wal-Mart in Heath for 19 years in various departments. She also worked at Hill’s and Ame’s for a number of years. After graduating from Riverview High School, she worked at McDonald’s on Union Street. Ramona enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, camping, music, attending concerts and being surround by her loving family.
She is survived by her husband, William “Bill” White; five children, Tina (Joe) Mason of Crooksville, Chris White of New Lexington, Valarie (Mike) Hartsough of Hebron, and Mike Hahn and Michelle Hahn, both of Coshocton; seven brothers and sisters, Rose (Frank) Hoffer, Harry Dermer III, Bob Dermer, Jim (Kathy) Dermer, Mary (Fred) Fowler, Joe Dermer and Kathryn (Carl) Aeby; eight grandchildren; and many close extended family members and her Wal-Mart family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by an infant sister, Karen Mae.
