Helen Mae Robberts

Helen Mae Robberts, age 79 of Thornville, went to be with her Savior on October 4, 2011, at Fairfield Medical Center.

She was a member of Church of Good Hope and Olivedale Senior Citizens Center.

She was married on February 4, 1955, to Carl E. Robberts for 56 years; children, Brenda (Dick Mentz) Swyers of Lancaster, Duane (Pam) Robberts of Thornville, and Doreen Evans of Lancaster; grandchildren, Shane, Luke, Zack, Kendra, Carleen, Cassandra, Jimmy, and Dalton; great grandchildren, Trevor, David, Traden, Haley, Logan, Jalayna, Larissa, and Eleyna; sisters, Kathryn (Dale) Liller of Berlin Center, Ohio and Ruth (Rev. Lawrence) Sullivan of Rockbridge, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Jo Ann (John) Estep of Logan; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her son, Leon Owen Robberts; parents, Rev. Clyde and Ruby Watters, Sr.; brother, Clyde Watters, Jr.; sister, Adrian Pendleton; infant sister, Margaret Watters; son-in-law, James “Jim” W. Evans, Jr. who passed away on October 2, 2011; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Violet and Dexter Robberts.

Funeral service was held October 8, 2011, in the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Lancaster, with Pastor William Syfert officiating. Burial followed in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
