Hebron Music & Arts Festival set for Sept. 24

HEBRON - The Hebron Music & Arts Festival returns to Canal Park on Saturday, Sept. 24.

The annual event is organized by the Hebron Business Association. Sponsors are Big “O” Refuse, CenturyLink, Clay’s Café, Crossroad Dental Group, the ENERGY cooperative, Greater Buckeye Lake Chamber of Commerce and Hoskinson Funeral Home.

The festivities get under way at 8 a.m. with a 5K Run/Walk beginning at Evans Park. There is a registration fee for the 5K Run/Walk and the Miss Hebron Music and Arts Festival Pageant. All female Lakewood School District students are eligible to compete in three age divisions: K - 4th, 5th - 8th and 9th - 12th. The pageant is sponsored by the Hebron Lions Club. Admission to the festival is free.

Here’s the schedule of events:

8 a.m.: 5K Run/Walk - Evans Park

10 a.m.: Line-up for festival parade in Evans Park

11 a.m.: Parade from Evans Park to Canal Park

11 a.m.: Festival opens at Canal Park. Art and food vendors are open. VA display and beer garden opens

Noon: Car show on Main Street. Kids Zone opens. Miss Hebron judging begins at Canal Park

Noon to 6 p.m.: Matt the Balloon Guy

Noon to 2 p.m.: Shawna Corder’s Shining Stars - gazebo stage

Noon to 1 p.m.: The Quiet Side - main stage

1:30-2:30 p.m.: Linnville Pike - main stage

2:45 p.m.: Crowning of festival queens - main stage

3 - 4:30 p.m.: The Sticks and Stones - main stage

5 - 6:30 p.m.: The Paul Clark Bank - main stage

7 - 8:30 p.m.: Headliner Licking County native Bryan Lewis - main stage
