James H. Mobley
A graveside funeral service, celebrating the life of James H. Mobley, 84, formerly of Hebron, will be held Friday, August 26, 2011 at 3:30 p.m. in the Belmont Cemetery, Belmont, Ohio, with full military honors by the Belmont County Council of the American Legion.
James died early Sunday, August 21, 2011, in Newark, following a brief illness. He was born January 11, 1927, in Belmont County, the son of the late William W. and Alta (Taylor) Mobley. He served honorably in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a printer at the Ohio Chamber of Commerce for over 40 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mona, in April of 2003, and his brother, Herman Mobley.
He is survived by his sisters and brothers, Nelson Mobley of Paris, Homer Mobley of Basye, Va., Freda Phillips of Reynoldsburg, Pearl M. Harris of Bucyrus, Mary Conoway of Orlando, Fl., Grace Sell of Orange, Tx. & Jessie Taylor of Alledonia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
