Dark clouds and periodic rain didn’t scare off nearly 600 visitors for the Buckeye Lake Area Civic Association’s 26th Annual Tour of Homes. Co-chairs Ron and Trudy Craig said nearly 150 volunteers were the key to the tour’s success. “We had a ton of new people this year,” Trudy Craig said. Fourteen or 15 of the 36 pontoon boats that shuttled visitors between the five south side homes featured this year were new to the event. Ron Craig thanked the corporate sponsors for their support – Coconis Furniture, Buckeye Lake Region Chamber of Commerce, NorthPoint Island, HER realtor Carla Williams and Fisher’s Marina.
