Island tour to benefit Buckeye Lake Museum

BUCKEYE LAKE – If you have ever wanted to visit Circle Island in Buckeye Lake, the first ever opportunity is coming up Friday, July 29.

The Buckeye Lake Historical Society has put together an island tour that includes Circle Island and NorthPoint Island. Guests will ride the Queen of the Lake II that will depart from Buckeye Lake State Park North Shore starting at 5 p.m.

Circle Island has never been opened to the public before. The Hennessey Family will host visitors who will be able to walk through their amazing home. Guests will enjoy light food and beverages.

The next stop for the Queen and guests is NorthPoint Island owned by William Schottenstein. Guests will enjoy a buffet meal, tour the magnificent new home and dance to the music of Reynoldsburg

DJ Jeff Cox. The buffet will be catered by John Doneff’s Island House.

The cost is $100 per person and $175 per couple. All proceeds will benefit the Buckeye Lake Museum.
