More top graduates named
Eric Parrish (right) is Lakewood High School’s valedictorian this year and Jared Halter is salutatorian. Eric, whose parents are Ed and Kathy, will study business at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. Jared’s parents are Mike and Kim, and Jared will attend the Ohio University College of Pharmacy.

Salutatorian Tricia Steffen is not pictured. Ryan’s parents are Mike and Sherill, and Ryan plans to study civil engineering at The Ohio State University. Aaron, whose parents are Jeff and Aleta, will study economic and political science at The Ohio State University. Grant, son of Tim and Sonya, plans to study meteorology and geology at Ohio University. Shane’s parents are Sherry and Danny, and Shane plans to study biology at the University of Cincinnati. Megan is Bill and Mary’s daughter and she’ll study physics as a pre-med student at The Ohio State University. Helen, whose parents are Steve Cothrel and Michele Morrone, plans to study astrophysics at Ohio University. Josh’s parents are Robin and Laura, and Josh will study zoology as part of a predentistry program at Miami University. Carl’s parents are Carl and Gillian, and Carl will study petroleum engineering at the Colorado School of Mines. Tiffany, daughter of Robert and Anna, will attend Cornell University where she’ll study theater and psychology.
Millersport High School boasts valedictorians Caitlin Arthurs (left) and Rielle Holobaugh, and salutatorian James Helle. Caitlin is Peggy and Mark Arthurs’ daughter and Caitlin looks forward to studying English at the University of Toledo. Rielle’s parents are Bob and Julie, and Rielle will study early childhood education at Ohio University - Lancaster. James’ parents are Rudolph and Sondra, and he’ll attend OSU-Newark where he’ll study mechanical engineering.
