Shirley A. (Meloy) Leith
Shirley A. (Meloy) Leith, age 75, of Pleasantville, passed away at her residence, Friday, May 13th, 2011.
She was a retired Postmaster of the Jacksontown Post Office. She was also a member of the Pleasantville United Methodist Church, the National Association of Postmasters of the United States and The Dawes Arboretum.
Shirley is survived by her children, Sherri (Kevin) Miller, John (Peg) Leith, and Sandy (James) Uhl; grandchildren, Kara Miller and fiancé (Scott Arms), Scott Miller, Ashley (Brent) Davis, Amber Leith, Kyle Uhl and fiancé (Leah Groves), and David (Jerrica) Leith; great-grandchild, Tanner; a sister, Sue Landis; brother-in-law, Donn Leith; several nieces, nephews; and long time friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David J. Leith; parents: Charles M. and Edna F. Meloy; and sister-in-law, Wanda M. Leith.
Funeral services were held May 18, 2011, at the Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home, Lancaster, with Pastor Monte Landis officiating. Burial followed at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newark.
