Clarence E. Mauger
Clarence E. Mauger, age 90, of Baltimore, died Saturday, April 23, 2011, at the Fairfield Medical Center.
He was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ, Baltimore and a longtime farmer and member of the National Farmers Association. He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 11 and the Baltimore VFW Post 3761.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Thelma M. (Myers) Mauger; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Barry Waites; son, Wayne E. Mauger and daughterin law, Cheryl S. Mauger all of Baltimore; six grandchildren, Nicholas (Julie) Waites, Pickerington, Daniel (Maggie) Waites, Carroll, Matthew (Sarah) Waites, Lancaster, Derrick ( Ashley) Mauger, Akron, Julie Mauger, Baltimore and Nicole Mauger and fiancé, Randy Coffman, Pickerington; seven great grandchildren, Samuel, Owen, Levi and Nya Waites, Jayce and Brycen Mauger and Ethan Farrell; sister, Virginia Watters, Baltimore; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell C. and Mary Mauger; his grandson, Joshua Waites; brothers, Vernon and Herbert Mauger; and sister, Erma Taylor.
Funeral service will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the Trinity United Church of Christ, High and Market Streets, Baltimore with Rev. Jill Dunlap officiating. Burial will follow in Violet Cemetery, Pickerington where the Baltimore VFW will conduct military graveside services.
Memorials may be given to Nationwide Children’s Hospital, 700 Childrens Drive, Columbus, OH 43205 or the Trinity United Church of Christ, 105 N. High St. Baltimore, OH 43105 in Clarence’s memory.
