Poppy Day is May 7 in Millersport
MILLERSPORT – American Legion Auxiliary Unit 637 members will be distributing poppies downtown and in businesses starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 7.
Poppy Day is sponsored each year by the American Legion Auxiliary to remind Americans of the sacrifice of life and health made by the men and women of our armed forces. They are handmade by our disabled veterans and are never sold.
Contributions are devoted entirely to rehabilitation and child welfare efforts for veterans and their families.
