Angie Oneta Shaw
A funeral service, celebrating the life of Angie Oneta Shaw, 67, of Hebron, was held December 27, 2010, in the chapel of The Hoskinson Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Kirkpatrick as celebrant.
Oneta died December 21, 2010, at her home following an extended illness. She was born September 25, 1943, in Prestonburg, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Garland and Alice (Neely) Adams. She was a lifelong homemaker who cherished her children and grandchildren.
She enjoyed crocheting and was a prayer warrior for family and friends.
On August 11 1962, she married James Shaw, who survives along with her children, Theresea (Steve) Turner of Alexandria, Beverly (Todd) Leas of Newark, Jeff Shaw of Newark, and Debbie (Larry) Hogue of Heath; her nine grandchildren, Forest, Alex, Regan, Hailey, Olivia, Keifer, Abbie, Isabel and Luke; her sister, Sue Delong of Newark; brother, William Adams of Hebron; nieces and nephews; and her church family at Springhill Baptist Church in Granville, where she was a member.
