Trustee supports Lakewood

Editor:

To our friends, neighbors, and residents throughout the Lakewood School District:

I am currently a Licking Township Trustee and a former two term Lakewood School Board member. My wife Sandy and I have resided in and supported the Lakewood School District since 1970.

We both attended the open public information forums and thoroughly reviewed the financial and budgetary information presented by the Board of Education and the administration relative to the why the requested Levy revenues are needed to continue providing the excellent educational and extra-curricular opportunities now available to OUR LAKEWOOD STUDENTS.

In our opinion the School Board, Administration, Teachers, and Support Staff have earned our support and the communities over the last ten years by providing continuous improvements to individual academic opportunities for all students resulting in our school district receiving an “EXCELLENT RATING” on the State report card for last three successive years.

To those of you who may still be undecided whether or not to support the Lakewood School Levy, we believe there are 2075 DESERVING REASONS why you should support and VOTE YES for it. Those reasons represent the future decision makers for our community; they are our children, grandchildren, and our neighbor’s children and grandchildren.

Please join us with your positive support for an Excellent Public School System and VOTE YES FOR THE LAKEWOOD SCHOOL LEVY
