Butch died early Sunday morning, September 19, 2010, at home following an extended illness. He was born April 18, 1949, in Newark, the son of the late George and Bonnie (Faller) Anderson. He served honorably in the US Navy during the Vietnam era, and was a retired truck driver. He was a member of Thornville AMVETS. He loved fishing, camping and playing cards.

He is survived by his family: his wife, Sharon, whom he married on December 20, 1969; his daughter, Cathyjo (Kevin) Field of Thornville; his sister, Sue (Don) Able of Thornville; his brother, David Wayne (Dawn) Presnell of Baltimore, MD; mother-in-law, Virginia Adams of Thornville, along with aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Butch wanted everyone to remember him by laughing and having a good time. Please do not send flowers; just come help his family honor his life.
