Mary Louise Parcher
A graveside inurnment service for Mary Louise Parcher, age 81, of Thornville, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 18, at Fairmount Cemetery with Rev. Bruce Kenat, Sr. officiating. The family will be receiving friends and family at the Parcher/Craig home following the service.
Mrs. Parcher died Tuesday, August 24, 2010, at Autumn at the Lake in Thornville. She was born June 18, 1929, in Eagle Grove, Iowa to the late Clarice Black and the late Geraldine Francesca (Nelson) Kneer.
Mrs. Parcher spent her adult life in Wickliffe, Ohio, and retired to the Buckeye Lake area to live near her family. Mary found great pleasure in her work as a customer service manager. Her hobbies included crocheting items of beautiful quality and sewing. Mary was a voracious reader and loved a good discussion about politics and politicians.
She is survived by her children, Bruce Kenat, Sr., Nannette Parcher, Douglas Parcher, Christine Walton and Scott Cole; grandchildren, Kimberly Louise (Kenat) Rich, Kristina Marie (Kenat) Reeder, Bruce Carl Kenat, Jr., Cassandra J. Reiser, Craig Allen Sellers, Barbara Ann Marie (Sellers) Jablonski and Scott Joseph Sellers; great-grandchildren, Taylor Renee Smith, Lia Marie Kenat, Michelle Jablonski and Matthew Jablonski; greatgrandchild, Kylie Reeder; and a brother, James Black.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Vada Ilene (Black) Lakes.
