Ronald B. Hayes
A Memorial Service for Ronald B. Hayes of Hebron will be held Friday September 3, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at the Hebron United Methodist Church, 502 East Main St., Hebron. Rev. Brian Harkness will officiate.
Mr. Hayes was born in Pickerington, on August 5, 1934, to the late Robert and Opal (Cochenour) Hayes.
He died Friday August 27, 2010, at the Selma Markowitz Center. He was 76 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Molly; daughter, Sabra (Patrick) Hogan; step daughters, Leslie Corwin, Lisa Corwin, Kellie Erhenberger, and Mollie (Woody) Gordon; and grandchildren, Devin, Keegan, MacKenzie, Shannon, Josh, Eric, Spencer, and Adam.
Ron was a member of the Reynoldsburg High School Class of ’52. In high school he enjoyed sports, and holds the record of most consecutive free-throws in basketball. He was a member of the Boy Scouts and became an Eagle Scout, and is a life member of the scouts. He spent his life as an entrepreneur, creating jobs for many people. He enjoyed fishing and golfing.
