Mildred Virginia “Millie” Rudolph

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Mildred Virginia “Millie” Rudolph, 92, of Hebron, will be held Friday, July 30, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of The Hoskinson Funeral Home, Kirkersville, with Pastor Scott Hayes as celebrant. Burial will follow at Houcktown Cemetery in Hancock County at 2:30 p.m.

Millie died peacefully Tuesday morning, July 27, 2010, in Newark following an extended illness. She was born September 2, 1917 in Clarksburg, WV, the daughter of the late Willie and Vena (Mace) Boggs.

She worked for many years at the Hebron Drug store and was retired from Quality Farm and Fleet in Heath. She attended the Licking Baptist Church and was an honored member of the 55+ Club of Hebron.

She is survived by her loving family: her sons, Gary (Linda) Rudolph of Hebron and Dale J. Williams of Lancaster; her sister, Jeraldine Leasure of Vienna, WV; her grandchildren, Gary (Michele) Rudolph, Richard (Esther) Rudolph, Kelley (Tim) Swingle, and Ric, Vicki and Terry Williams; her 12 great- grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph R. Rudolph in 1977, and six of her sisters and brothers.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home, 285 E Main St., Kirkersville, where an on-line guest register and memorial tribute to Millie are available at www. hoskinsonfuneral.com
