Class of 2010’s top graduates
Liberty Union High School: Valedictorian Barrett Lawlis (standing left), Tim and Peggy Lawlis’ son, will attend Ohio University where he’ll major in journalism. Salutatorian Shane Steffen (standing right) will also attend Ohio University where he’ll study mechanical engineering. His parents are Susan and Patrick Steffen. Valedictorian Jayce Born (seated left) will study criminology and psychology at Ohio Northern University. Her parents are John and Kathy Born. Valedictorian Krista Mathews (seated center), Paul and Karen Mathews’ daughter, will study medical dietetics at The Ohio State University. Valedictorian Jessica Mossman (seated right) will major in civil engineering at Ohio Northern University. Her parents are Chris and Kevin Mossman. Lakewood High School: Valedictorian Josiah Olson is headed to Kenyon College to study political science. His parents are Tom and Sharon Olson. Salutatorian Angela Wollenberg, Melody and Dennis Wollenberg’s daughter, will major in architecture at Bowling Green University. Sheridan High School: Valedictorian Stephanie Metzger, Tom and Marilyn Metzger’s daughter, plans to attend Muskingum University, where she’ll study science education. Salutatorian Luke Rockwell has been appointed to the U. S. Air Force Academy where he will major in aeronautical engineering. His parents are Richard and Millie Rockwell. Millersport High School: Valedictorian Clayton Keller (left), Glenn and Karen Keller’s son, will attend Brigham Young University Idaho, where his major is undeclared. Valedictorian Alexandria Reasoner will study criminal justice at Mt. Vernon Nazarene University. Her parents are Dwayne and Dina Reasoner. Salutatorian Mosiah Atwood will also attend Brigham Young University Idaho, also with an undeclared major. His parents are Todd and DeAnn Atwood. Beacon photos by Scott Rawdon.
