Janet L. Braunbeck
A Mass of Christian Burial for Janet L. Braunbeck, 76, of Millersport was held at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, May 17, 2010, with Father Bob Penhallurick officiating. Interment followed in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Janet, a 1952 Newark High School graduate, died on Wednesday, May 13, 2010, at the Fairfield Medical Center. She was born in Cleveland, on April 21, 1934, to the late Joseph Dixon and Mary (Dolan) Dixon.
Janet was a former Roper employee and Statehouse secretary. She enjoyed living on the lakefront, boating, and teaching her grandchildren to water ski. Janet was also very proud to be a breast cancer survivor.
Janet is survived by her husband of 39 years, Gerald Braunbeck, of the home; her son, Doug Frischen, of Newark; her daughter and sonin law, Joni and Roger Francis of Newark; her grandchildren and their spouses, Nikole (Bill) Hamilton, Gina (Jimmy) Frischen, Charity (Josh) Stehlin, Monica (Joey) Holmberg, Kimberly Frischen, Ryan Francis, and Erica Francis; her great-grandchildren, Zack, Aspen, Kali, Jimmy, Alex, Kamden, Kailyn, Andrew, and Addison (due to arrive in July); her sister, Joan Wyzenbeek of Kentucky; her aunt and uncle, Pauline and Ray Stemen of Canal Winchester; and her nieces and nephew, Mark Wyzenbeek, Niki Termin, and Torina Dodrill.
