Plenty of offers to help Sam

I would like to thank everyone for his or her most loving response for helping Sam find a home. I talked to a lot of nice residents who were very upset at what happened to Samantha and her babies.

Everyone said, “Why did this have to happen? What did that swan ever do, but let nature take its course and allow cygnets to be born?”

But because of two selfish people, the swans had to stop such a wonderful sight of birth. I do want everyone to know that Samantha’s spirit has sent him back to Snug Harbor, where his other babies are welcomed. Her spirit will always be with them.

Again, I want to thank everyone who responded. I hope that Ms. Heimrich and her brother have a nice yard now! But you have no heart. All I can say is, “Stay in Columbus – not our lake! Because here we love nature!”
