The Rev. William K. Redd

The Rev. William K. Redd, 94 of Reynoldsburg, went to be with the Lord Monday, May 10, 2010, in Columbus. He was born February 12, 1916, in Thurston, the son of the late Leroy and Ella (Young) Redd.

Rev. Redd was the retired Secretary of the F.K. Enzor Lighting Company, and retired Pastor of Kirkersville Apostolic Church.

He was a very kind and loving man, who sacrificed to love and care not only for his own family, but his extended church family, to whom he was very dedicated.

Rev. Redd is survived by his loving family: wife, Glenna M. (Wright) Redd, whom he married on July 25, 1936; daughters, Carolyn (Frank Wayne) Donaldson of Deltona, FL and Marilyn (Jerry) Ulry of Pataskala; grandchildren, Kenny (Rachel), Mike, Derek and Chris (Deborah); 7 great-grandchildren; and a large extended church family.

Friends may call Thursday, May 13 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at The Hoskinson Funeral Home, 285 E. Main St. in Kirkersville. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 14, 2010, at the Kirkersville Apostolic Church, with Brother Kramer officiating. Burial will follow in Carroll Cemetery.
