Buckeye Lake

• April 16: A Hebron man was cited for failing to have assured clear distance from the vehicle ahead of him when his pick-up truck rear-ended another on Walnut Road.

• April 18: A Family Dollar employee reported that a juvenile stole two pairs of sunglasses. The juvenile admitted to the thefts and was placed under house arrest.

• April 20: An officer took a domestic violence report against a Walnut Road man April 12. The officer discovered the man’s driver’s license was suspended when he took the report. The officer then saw the man driving on Mill Dam Road April 20 and stopped him. The man said he was going to the store to buy milk for his family because all his family members were sick. The man was cited for driving under suspension and a licensed person retrieved the vehicle. The officer said the man walked to the store from the arrest scene, however, the officer noticed that all the man bought was a power drink.

• April 21: A Walnut Road woman suspected her live-in boyfriend stole her wallet from her purse. She filed theft charges against him.

Hebron

• March 18: A driver was cited for going 66 mph in a 50 mph zone on Ohio 79 at US 40.

• March 18: Another driver was cited for travelling 65 mph n a 50 mph zone on Ohio 79 at US 40.

• March 19: Police assisted the fire department with a dog bite incident. Police cited the dog’s owner who have previously been warned about allowing his dog to run free.

• March 19: A Lake Forest Drive man told police that his 18-year-old son had taken several expensive tool kits from his garage. His son had been kicked out of the house last November after he failed to address a major drug problem.

• March 19: Police on patrol was conducting random license checks via the cruiser computer terminal. A vehicle checked on Lakewood Drive came back with a warrant for the owner out of Perry County. Police confirmed the warrant and arrested the owner. He was turned over to Perry County.

• March 19: A driver was cited for going 47 mph in a 35 mph zone on 5th Street at East Main Street.

• March 19: A driver was cited for travelling 64 mph in a 50 mph zone on Ohio 79 at US 40.

• March 19: Police were dispatched to a reported active domestic dispute at a Lakewood Drive apartment. The supposed victim was intoxicated and changed his story several times. The alleged assailant, his mother, told police it was a verbal argument. Her version was backed up by a witness.

• March 19: Police stopped a driver for a stop sign violation at West 2nd at Cumberland Street. Police discovered the driver was under suspension. Citations were issued for both violations.

• March 19: A driver was cited for a stop sign violation on exit ramp from Ohio 79 to US 40.

• March 19: Police on patrol heard some yelling behind the Duke station. Police spotted a man leaving the area. He told police he was trying to contact his girlfriend who lived in some nearby apartments. He was told to go inside or face disorderly conduct charges.

• March 20: Two drivers were cited for going 64 mph in a 50 mph zone on Ohio 79 at US 40.

• March 20: A Lakewood Drive resident told police that a young juvenile had hurt a dog near the apartment complex. Another resident told police that he had seen an unknown juvenile with a dog that was barking, but it wasn’t being harmed.

• March 21: Police stopped a driver for a stop sign violation on a exit ramp from Ohio 79 to US 40. The driver was also cited for possession of marijuana.

• March 21: Police responded to a report of an active domestic dispute at a Hebron Road trailer. A man was arrested for domestic violence. He was also found to have marijuana and drug paraphernalia in his possession. He was taken to jail.

• March 21: A Lakewood Drive apartment residents said her ex-husband called her home while intoxicated and harassed her and her daughter. She didn’t want police to contact her ex, but did want the incident documented.

• March 21: Police cited a driver for a stop sign violation on West 2nd Street at Cumberland Street.

• March 22: A Millersport woman told police that an intoxicated man was yelling at his child and wife in the Krogers parking lot. She said he ten drove away. Police checked the area, but couldn’t find his vehicle.
