BLACA spring dinner set for April 21
BUCKEYE LAKE – Spring is finally here and it’s time for the Buckeye Lake Area Civic Association’s annual spring dinner meeting.
The meeting is set for Wednesday, April 21 at the Buckeye Lake Eagles on Ohio 79. The social hour begins at 6 p.m. with dinner at 7 p.m. and the meeting begins at 8 p.m.
This meeting should be of special interest to West Bank and North Bank residents. James Mako, Senior Planner with the Fairfield County Regional Planning Commission, will be presenting information and answering questions about floodplain mapping and management. Fairfield County is currently updating its floodplain maps and there are significant revisions for the lake area.
Residents are encouraged to email questions before the meeting to firstname.lastname@example.org so they can be sent to Mako and incorporated into his presentation. Art Lowe, President of the fledging Buckeye Lake for Tomorrow. will outline the group’s progress and objectives.
