Don E. Stiverson
Don E. Stiverson, 74, of Baltimore, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2010, at his son’s residence.
He was born on August 29, 1935, to the late Wesley and Maggie Stiverson in Lancaster. Don started his work at Jimmy’s Drive-In then worked at Loreco Papermill, from there he went to electrical union school and then American Electric Power Co. He later went to work for Anchor Hocking Glass Corp. Plant 1 as a maintenance supervisor and then became plant manager at 4M in Newark, Ohio. He spent many years at RCA in Circleville, until he retired. He was a proud lifetime member of the IBEW Local 683.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Stiverson; daughters, Pam Miller of Lancaster, and Peggy Ellis of Columbus; son, Ron (Cheri) Stiverson of Thornville; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Janet Getz of Carroll; brother, Mike (Pam) Stiverson of Pickerington; ex-wife, Connie Landis Pyles of Lancaster; several nieces and nephews; and good friends, George Fackler, Jim Keeton, Eric Robinson, Randy Hanna, Jon Newhart, and Hank Kauffman.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Alma Stiverson Morgan and Ethel Stiverson; parents; two grandsons, Chad Stiverson and Tyler James Whitlatch; and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral service was February 24, 2010 in the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Lancaster, with Chaplain Ernie Doling officiating. Burial followed in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster. Memorial gifts may be given to FairHoPe Hospice, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
