Free Alzheimer’s care consultations offered

NEWARK – The Alzheimer’s Association, Central Ohio Chapter is offering free onsite care consultation to residents in Licking County who are affected by Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.

The consultations will be held every three months from 12-2 p.m. at Zerger Hall Senior Center, 745 E. Main Street, Newark. The first consultation will be available by appointment on February 25th.

Through care consultations, professionals help those living with Alzheimer’s disease and their caregivers by educating them about the disease, linking them with community resources, creating a long-term plan and offering caregiver education and support.

Consultations in Licking County are funded by the Licking County Foundation.
