Roger T. Llewellyn, Sr.

Roger T. Llewellyn, Sr. 67, of New Lexington, former resident of Millersport, died Saturday, February 6, 2010, at his residence.

He was a meat cutter and later became a truck driver. He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the US Army and a member of the VFW Post 1380 and Fairfield Fish and Game Association.

He is survived by sons, Brian (Dodie) Llewellyn Randolph, Roger T. Llewellyn, Jr. of New Lexington, and Michael Llewellyn of Junction City; daughters, Nancy Lynn and Janet Marie; step-sons, Robert (Shelly) Meachem of Somerset, Timothy Meachem of Columbus, and David Johnson of Lancaster; many grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles; and close friend, Alice Hill.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley A. Llewellyn; parents, Leonard E. and Betty E. Llewellyn; brother, Leonard Lee Llewellyn; and sister, Nancy Llewellyn; and several aunts and uncles.

Funeral service was held February 9, 2010, in the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home Chapel and Crematory, Lancaster, with Fr. James Walter of St. Joseph Catholic Church officiating. Caring Cremation to follow.
