Opal Marie Thompson

Opal Marie Thompson, 94, of Millersport died peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010 following an extended illness. She was born in Idaho, Ohio, on Jan. 12, 1916, the daughter of Zinni and Aida (Williams) Mustard.

She was a loving and devoted mother who loved to read, quilt and was a gardener.

She is survived by her loving sons and daughters: Charles (Claudia) Wilson of Washington C.H., Billy Joe Wilson of Millersport, Barbara (Gary) Sainsbury of Thornville, and Carl (Robin) Thompson of Millersport; her sisters: Hazel Wolridge of Piketon, Nellie Walls of Idaho, Ohio and Rosie Brady of Columbus; her grandchildren: Todd, Tammy, Carla, Crystal, Debbie, Chuck and Charles; and seven great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents; she is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis; her son, Dallas Eugene Thompson; her sisters and brothers: Louise Williams, Martha Smith, Raymond, Herman, Cecil, Robert, Paul and Merle Mustard.

The family would like to thank Dr. Anna Whetstone for 50 years of care and the Pickering House in Lancaster.

Services were held Wednesday, Jan. 20 in the chapel of Hoskinson Funeral Home, Kirkersville. Burial followed at Kirkersville Cemetery.
