Bettye Lou Miller
Bettye Lou Miller, 76, of Hebron, formerly of Hilliard, died Wednesday, January 6, 2010, at home surrounded by her loving family. Born November 12, 1933, in Knoxville, TN, she was the daughter of the late Margaret Elizabeth Henry.
Bettye and her husband Ted moved from Hilliard to Buckeye Lake in 2005. Bettye was a retired nurse from the Red Cross, a member of the North High Polar Bear Club, and a Eucharistic Minister at St. Brendan’s Church, until moving to Buckeye Lake where she became a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.
Bettye and Ted loved the lake, sailing the Caribbean, and traveling the country in their RV. Her ability to love, laugh and listen will be missed by everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her loving
husband of 53 years and best friend in life, Ted, and her six wonderful children, Peg Miller of Blacklick, Brigadier General Maryanne Miller of Falls Church, VA, Theodore G. Miller III of Alliance, OH and his wife Marvilla, Timothy J. Miller of Columbus, Matthew L. Miller of Marysville and his wife Jane, and Michael R. Miller of Chicago and his wife Erin. Bettye is also survived by her 10 grandchildren.
A funeral mass celebration was held Jan. 11, 2010, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. Memorials may be directed to the American Red Cross.
