Virginia “Ginny” DeVaul
Virginia “Ginny” DeVaul walked with angels to heaven on Wednesday morning, Dec. 23, 2009, surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 28, 1926.
She was a homemaker, waitress and retired from Larsan’s Manufacturing.
She is survived by three daughters: Pam DeVaul of Hebron, Patty (Walt) Davis of Crown City, and Karen (Ralph) Rohner of West Jefferson; her sister, Esther (George) Newell of Grandview Heights; her seven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Bessie (Cochran) Wolverton; her seven siblings; and her husband and special friend, Frank DeVaul.
She never knew a stranger and was thought of fondly by all who knew her and will be sadly missed by all her neighbors (her front porch buddies) and friends.
A going-home service was held Dec. 28 at Hoskinson Funeral Home, 285 E. Main ST. in Kirkersville, with Pastor Jeff Smith as celebrant. Burial was in Jacksontown Cemetery.

We will all greatly miss you Mom! You give us added meaning, and our hearts are at peace. Even though we cannot see you, we still will hear your advice, feel your encouragement and know your love. Thanks, Mom, for being the wonderful Mom that you were!
