C-TEC accepting applications for 2010-2011

NEWARK – All secondary center programs of the Career and Technology Education Centers (C-TEC) of Licking County are accepting applications for the 2010-2011 school year. Applications can be picked up at the counseling office at the prospective student’s high school.

C-TEC offers more than 30 full- and half-day programs of study including Computer Machining Technology, Teaching Professions Academy, Marketing and Retail Management, Computerized Accounting, Computer Information Systems, Automotive Collision Repair, and Theatre Arts Academy.

Many programs provide students with the opportunity to earn college credits (up to as many as 30 credits in some programs--at little or no cost). Others offer industry certifications, accreditations and apprenticeship options.
