Gift cards available from Ohio State Parks

COLUMBUS – Ohio State Parks offers a holiday gift idea that is sure to please everyone, and no shopping is required. Ohio State Parks gift cards suit any budget and can now be purchased online at www.ohiostateparks.org.

The popular gift cards can be redeemed for a number of activities at Ohio’s 74 beautiful state parks. They are accepted for overnight stays in most of Ohio’s luxurious state park lodges, as well as all state park cottages and campgrounds. They can also be used at a number of state park facilities for rounds of golf, boat rentals and food and merchandise purchases.

Lodges that accept the Ohio State Parks gift cards include Burr Oak, Deer Creek, Hueston Woods, Maumee Bay, Mohican, Punderson, Salt Fork and Shawnee. The gift cards can be used for room rental as well as dining room meals and gift shop merchandise. They can also be used at the public golf courses at Deer Creek, Hueston Woods, Maumee Bay, Punderson, Salt Fork and Shawnee.

The gift cards are available in any denomination, with a minimum value of $5. Gift givers can also choose from two designs when they purchase their gift cards. In addition to the new online sales, the gift cards can also be purchased during regular business hours at any state park office or by calling 614-265-6513.

Gift card recipients can use the gift card for payment when making advance reservations for state park facility rentals, including picnic shelters and meeting rooms. They can also use the gift card when making reservations up to six months in advance for camping and getaway rentals in any state park campground, or for reservations up to one year in advance for cottage stays at Buck Creek, Cowan Lake, Dillon, Hocking Hills, Lake Hope, Mohican, Pike Lake and Pymatuning.
