David E. Lindsey

A funeral service celebrating the life of David E. Lindsey, 67, of Reynoldsburg, was held December 2, 2009, in the chapel of the Hoskinson FuneralHome, Kirkersville, with Brother Tom Wilson as celebrant. Burial with full military honors followed at Kirkersville Cemetery.

David died Sunday, November 29, 2009, at his home with his wife at his side. He was born August 8, 1942, in Circleville, the son of the late John J. and Mildred (Reed) Lindsey. He was a graduate of Newark High School, Class of 1960. He served honorably in the US Navy from 1961- 1965. He retired from American Electric Power in 2000.


He is survived by his loving family: his wife, Vicky Love- Lindsey; his children, John of Hebron and Sherry (Roger) Plott of Newark; step-daughter, Britney Bowen (Brody Lehmer) of Reynoldsburg; his brother and sisters, Dwayne of Indianapolis, Judy Storts of Lithopolis, Janice Foote of Columbus, Jacqueline(Paul) Bastian of Baltimore and Jeannine( Jim) Lawrie of Orange, CA.; his four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jonda Trace.
