This eagle sculpture, designed out of plastic foam by Buckeye Lake artist and sculptor Ray King, graces a newly renovated barn at 15037 Township Road 37 in Thorn Township. The barn is owned by Donny and Theresa Owens and was restored in late summer. Restoration work was done by Roman and Daniel Hershberger of Glenford over a period of about seven weeks. King, a friend of the Owens family, first drew a sketch of the three-dimensional eagle sculpture 10 years ago, but owners waited until the barn was renovated to proceed with the project.
