Prince, Wells have the ‘ability’

Editor:

Election time is here again and I have been reflecting over the past 30 years I have lived here at Buckeye Lake.

Great things have taken place such as the Greater Buckeye Lake Historical Society’s museum, our own library, a skate park and soon safe drinking water. I am privileged to have been involved in most of these projects and grateful for those who made them happen.

Two of these people are on the ballot. Peggy Wells for council and Charles Prince for Union Township Trustee. They both have the qualities necessary to move our village and township in a positive direction. Both are committed to the betterment of our community, not personal agendas.

Both Peggy and Charlie have the ability to do the job. You can be committed but without the ability nothing gets done. I think that is why it took so long to get public water. Earlier councils not only lacked the ability, but refused help from 15 citizens who volunteered time and resources. When we reached the funding stage, they shut us down. Thank you to the current administration for getting the job done.

It also appears that we have candidates with previous political experience which can be a plus. Whether they have ability remains to be seen. Please vote.
