Erma Jean Blake

Erma Jean Blake, 73, of Millersport, former resident of Baltimore, passed away peacefully, Monday, October 12, 2009, at Heartland-Fairfield Nursing Center after a three year battle of cancer.

Erma was retired personnel director at K-Mart. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, fulfilled a service mission in Spokane, WA. She was a past member of the Order of Eastern Star in Shawnee, Ohio.

Erma is survived by her son, Lester L. (Julann) Blake of Rexburg, Idaho; daughters, Cindy L. (Lamar) Wilson of Lava Hot

(Mitzi) Walton of Fultonham, Ohio; 4 sisters, Carole (Robert) Howell of Newark, Ohio, Donna Sue (Rodney) Archer of Roseville, Anna Lee (Jack) Kreitz of Somerset, Ohio, and Pauletta Reed of South Zanesville; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death

by her husband, Frank E. Blake; parents, Margaret E (Kranyik) and Leonard Walton; and brother-inlaw, Donald Reed.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 17, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Sheridan Dr. with Bishop Glen Keller officiating. Burial to follow in Union Evangelical Cemetery, Baltimore.

Friends may visit Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Johnson- Smith Funeral Home, 207 S. Main St., Baltimore and one hour prior the service on Saturday at the church.
