Horn endorsed for Walnut Township

Editor:

Walnut Township is in dire need of a trustee with wisdom and integrity. We’ve known Terry Horn for 20 years and he would make a great trustee. Terry is a quality person that is extremely fair and would make good, solid decisions for the benefit of the township and not for his own personal interest or the interest of his friends.

Terry has terrific ideas, including creating an EMS/Fire task force. Issues with fire department funding and contracts have been a huge source of contention for several years. It’s time we did a fair, nonpartisan overview of the true needs of the community by a team of interested citizens and a third party consultant. This group could then make recommendations which would ensure coverage for everyone in the township instead of having the current trustees shove through their own personal agendas.

Another one of Terry’s impressive ideas is COMMUNICATING to the residents by publishing a newsletter to be sent out through automatic email and hard copy. Wouldn’t it be nice to be aware of special township meetings and trustees’ decisions?

Proverbs 8:12 says: “I, wisdom, dwell together with prudence; I possess knowledge and discretion.” God has given Terry a great deal of wisdom along with prudence, knowledge and discretion. These are the qualities needed for trustee. Terry was an engineering project manager /designer for 25 years. He has the wisdom AND experience that we need!
