Delores M. Bendure

A funeral service celebrating the life of Delores M Bendure, 71, of Hebron will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2009, at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of The Hoskinson Funeral Home, Kirkersville. Private family burial will follow in Mt Vernon.

Delores died Tuesday morning, September 8, 2009, at her home following a brief illness. She was born January 10, 1938 in Mt Vernon, the daughter of the late Lester M.Roe and Gertrude (Kent) Roe-Hazlett.

She was a retired self-employed home cleaner for many years. She loved reading, working crossword and jig saw puzzles and collecting ceramic dogs.

She is survived by her loving family: her mother and step-father, Gertrude and Robert Hazlett of Mt. Vernon; her daughters, Debra K. Smith of Jacksontown, Virginia D Romine of Hebron, Lori J Ballman of Pataskala; her son, Arthur B. Romine of Stockport; her brother, Dennis Roe of Lexington; and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Steven in 1985; her two sisters; and two brothers.

Her family will receive friends on Thursday, September 10, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home, 285 E. Main St in Kirkersville, and where an online memorial and tribute is available at www.hoskinsonfuneral. com.

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy in the form of memorial contributions be made to the Licking County Humane Society, 548 Dog Leg Rd., Heath, Ohio 43056. Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to serve the Bendure family.
