Carolyn E. (Randolph) Tavenner

A funeral service celebrating the life of Carolyn E. (Randolph) Tavenner, 64, of Hebron, was held August 22, 2009, in the chapel of The Hoskinson Funeral Home, Kirkersville, with Pastor Mark Springer as celebrant. Burial followed at Violet Cemetery, Pickerington.

Carolyn died August 18, 2009, at the Selma Markowitz Hospice Care Center following an extended illness. She was born November 20, 1944, in Ripley, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Leo D. and Velva Jane (Redman) Randolph. She was a graduate of Granville High School, Class of 1962, and was a lifelong homemaker. She was a member of the Linnville Christian Union Church.

Carolyn loved to travel, enjoyed nature and spending time with her grandkids, along with riding her scooter with friends.

She is survived by her loving family, her children and their families, Richard (Pam) Stotts Jr. of Hebron, and their children Kyle and Autumn; Tonya (Curt) Painter of Hebron, and their children, Curt, Gregg, & Brandee; Steven (Tina) Stotts of Columbus, and their children, Rachel, Eli, Rochel and Leah; her sisters, Ann (Don) Cole of Reynoldsburg, Willadene (James) Medley of Newark, and Wilma Lee (Mike) Abbruzzi of Birch Tree, Mo.; six nieces; and two nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Glenna Chapman.
