Jack E. Reiser
Jack E. Reiser, age 81 of Millersport, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2009, at his residence.
He was born March 30, 1928, in Columbus. He was a retired deputy sheriff in Franklin County. Jack served in the U.S. Army, during the Korean War. He was a member of the Eagles, V.F.W., American Legion and the Buckeye Sheriff Association.
Jack is survived by his wife, Georgann (Hulls) Reiser; children, Tom (Mikie) Reiser, Jacque (Lewis) Daniels, Nony (Peggy) Reiser, Mike Reiser, Eddie (Bev) Hulls, Melanie (John) Tichenor, Becky (Tom) Bird, Jack (Diane) Hulls and Debra (Vince) Browning; daughter-in-law, Jan Reiser; 16 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren. Deep appreciation to Fair HoPe Hospice especially Tammy, Lisa and Jenny for your care of Jack and special thanks to Father Michael Gribble of St. Joseph Cathedral.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Reiser and Ivola and Clarence Nonenmaker; son, John Reiser; and great grandson, Jason Wolfe.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2009, at 11 a.m. at the Craig M. Sheridan Funeral Home, 11544 Summerland Beach Road, Millersport, with Father Michael Gribble officiating. The Franklin County Sheriffs Department Honor Guard will be present. Burial will follow at the Millersport Cemetery with military honors conducted by VFW Post #1388 of Buckeye Lake.
