Pastors join together for Millersport Baccalaureate

Editor:

On Wednesday, June 3, 2009, the senior class of Millersport High School was honored in the Baccalaureate Exercises at the Millersport Methodist Church.

As my wife and I sat in the pew, we were impressed with our senior class and the efforts of the area pastors. It was a group endeavor by Pastor Steve Bush, Pastor Dan Monk, Pastor Brian Vinson, Pastor Tom Gill, Pastor Terry Borah, and Pastor Mike Willis. Guest speaker Pastor Tom Keane, who was instrumental in bringing back baccalaureate 15 years ago, highlighted the evening. The band and senior members of the choir performed and it was an evening to remember.

On Sunday, June 7, 2009, the commencement exercises took place and the Class of 2009 is now ready to make their mark in the world. Those young men and women will become tomorrow's tradesmen, professionals and leaders. My wife and I would like to congratulate the Class of 2009 not only from Millersport but all graduates.

The world will be a better place and Walnut Township is a great place to live and raise our children.
