BALTIMORE - It took a couple of months to work out, but in the end it only cost the Liberty Union school district $1,000 to buy a .401 acre parcel from Faith Lutheran Church. Willis E. Allen, 76, of Thornville, went to be with his wife, Joyce, on Thursday evening, June 4, 2009, at his residence. Willis was born March 4, 1933, to the late Morton D. and Mary Mooter Allen.
