Writer says get more than just opinions' from lawyers

Editor:

I have noticed when referring to prosecutors and solicitors, everyone talks about their opinion. These people are notorious for giving opinions.

Opinions are just that - your idea, my idea or someone else's idea or belief. It has no specific credence, validity or truth. It is an OPINION, which is a belief not substantiated by positive knowledge or proof. One can't hold someone accountable for an opinion. Always ask for a ruling in writing then one has an answer with credence and truth.
