Scott E. Ety
Scott E. Ety, age 37, passed away at his residence on Sunday, May 9th, 2009. He owned Speedy Excavating, and was a fireman for the Hopewell Township Fire Department. He was also a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church in Lancaster.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sara Ety, together for seven years; sons, Raymond, Joseph, Paul, Gaig, Colten, and Hudson; brother, Kevin and his wife, Lisa Ety and their children, Christopher, Brooke, and Hanna of Thurston; sister, Amy Cotrill and her children, Blake and Ariana Cotrill; mother, Pauline Ety of Millersport; father, Roger Ety of Pleasantville; mother-in-law, Sally Helton of Newark; fatherin law, Robert McClintock and his wife, Julie, of Newark; and sister-in-law, Amy and her husband, Ron Gardner, of Glenford.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Marie Ety, and Paul and Christine Singer.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the Hopewell Twp. Fire Department members.
A service will be held at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home in Lancaster at 2 p.m. on Thursday, officiated by Pastor Mark Raddatz. Burial will follow at the Emanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Lancaster. Family and friends may call two hours prior to the service on Thursday.
