Scout receives Eagle rank Sunday

Todd A. Kaylor Todd A. Kaylor MILLERSPORT - Todd A. Kaylor will be honored at Troop 404 Eagle Court of Honor on Sunday, March 1 at the Millersport American Legion.

Todd has been in Scouts since first grade and now has worked his way through all the Boy Scout ranks. He has held several leadership positions in Troop 404 and attended National Jamboree in 2006 as a Senior Patrol Leader. He spent last summer on staff at Camp Falling Rock and plans to return this summer. Todd is a senior at Millersport High School where he also takes post secondary classes at Ohio University- Lancaster.

Todd mapped out Millersport Cemetery for his Eagle project so local veterans could be recognized on Veterans Day and Memorial Day. Ruth Crutcher wanted to make sure that all veterans were recognized and that none is missed. Todd worked two years on the project, producing a hard copy in a threering binder that can be taken to the cemetery when markers are being placed and a CD that can be updated as needed.

He has earned a total of 30 merit badges. Twenty-one merit badges are required for the Eagle rank.
