Nicholas A. Anspach

A funeral service for Nicholas A. Anspach, 65, of Powell, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 5475 Brand Road, Dublin.

Anspach, 65, of Powell, passed away Friday at Ohio State University Medical Center.

He graduated from Sheridan High School in 1961, as well as from Otterbein College and Xavier University with a master's degree in education. He served 40 years as a teacher and administrator at Northern Local Schools in Perry County, Columbia schools and Keystone schools in Lorain County. His love for children and education was astounding. He was a member of Thornville Masonic Lodge 521 and Thornville Chapter OES 156. Nicholas was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Dublin.

He is survived and loved deeply by his wife, Sally Ann, of Powell; daughter, Julia (Jay) Stoner, of Dublin; son, Jamison (Kristin) Anspach, of Dublin; grandchildren, Sammy, Delayney and Haydyn Stoner and Rylee, Reagan and Zachary Anspach; stepmother, Martha J. Anspach, of Newark; and stepbrothers, Dion Widger and Cory (Marsha) Widger.

Nicholas was preceded in death by his father, Lewis H. Anspach; and mother, Betty J. (Lutz) Widger.
