Millersport Minstrel is country, blues, and 'Hee-Haw'

MILLERSPORT- The Millersport Community Theatre presents "Country Rhythm and Blues 2008 Minstrel Show" this Friday and Saturday, Feb. 29 and March 1, 7:30 p.m. (doors open 7 p.m.) at the Millersport District Auditorium in the elementary school. Publicity chair Debbie Smith describes this year's annual show as one third country, one third rhythm and blues, and one third "Hee-Haw"-the 1970s television variety program co-hosted by Buck Owens and Roy Clark. The minstrel show begins with musical numbers from the 1940s and progresses in time throughout the show to feature some of today's music
